Highlights this term include:

Reception: Bee keeping, chruch visit, cinema at Dene Academy, construction career visit, Forest School, London landmarks, Mini beast handling, Mining heritage visit, Seaside day, Van Gogh Sunflowers painting

Year 1 & 2: Forest School, Around the World in a day experience, Tom Lamb mining visit, Construction careers visit, capacity investigations

Year 3 & 4: Chair making, Chinese landscape painting, tasting Chinese food, Habitat hunt, making mango sago, outdoor art, toothpick pavillions, water fights and cinema trip

Year 5 & 6: Trips to Beamish, London residential and the Great North Museum

As a whole school we had a visit from Captain Chemistry and celebratefd the 60th anniversary if VE day and gardening club.
