Autumn 1

Hello everyone and welcome back to the new school year.

Some key information:

Our PE day will be on a Monday; children should arrive wearing their school PE kit.

Our weekly timetable looks like this- 

Our History topics this year include The Romans, Ancient Egypt and World war II. In Geography we'll be looking at The Colarado River (& Hoover Dam); The Panama Canal and the wonderful world of the London sewer system. In Science we'll be looking at properties and changes of materials; Earth and space and the human circulatory system; as well as forces. We've some exciting events and trips planned to support this learning.

In year 6 we'll soon be trialling a new electronic system for monitoring and encouraging reading at home- more details to follow.
